Diagnostic Test

1.COURTESY LAMPS DRIVER (HEADLINER) CIRCUIT SHORTED TO GROUND






Did the Courtesy Lamps turn off?

Yes
  • Repair the Courtesy Lamps Driver circuit in the headliner harness for a short to ground.
  • Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1.


No
  • Go To2

2.COURTESY LAMPS DRIVER CIRCUIT (BODY HARNESS) SHORTED TO GROUND






Did Courtesy Lamps turn off?

Yes
  • Repair the Courtesy Lamps Driver circuit in the Body Harness for a short to ground.
  • Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1.


No
  • Go To3

3.PANEL LAMPS DIMMER SWITCH MUX SHORT TO GROUND





Is the resistance below 5.0 ohms?

Yes
  • Repair the Panel Lamps Dimmer Switch MUX circuit for a short to ground condition.
  • Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1.


No
  • Go To4

4.MULTIFUNCTION SWITCH







Is the resistance below 5.0 ohms?

Yes
  • Replace the Multifunction Switch.
  • Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1.


No
  • Replace the Body Control Module.
  • Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1.
